Backstory

My family has bred Thestrals since I was a little girl. To me it looked like nothing was in the barn out back until I witnessed my grandfather pass away.  I've never seen such a majestic but sinister creature, it was love at first sight. Before I came to Hogwarts I loved riding my thestral Thanatos around my family's estate. Both of my parents are magic and my mother went to Beaxbatone Academy and my father went to Hogwarts. I was very excited to receive my letter to Hogwarts. Not even a full day later I was in Diagon alley buying all of my supplies for my first year. My wand is Willow wood with a phoenix feather core, 10 3/4 and slightly springy flexibility. My goal after Hogwarts is to work with magical creatures. The slytherin dorms are a little weird but I love the view of the lake and the animals that swim by my window. I hope to make it on the quidditch team at some point during my time at Hogwarts. I would also love to be able to learn Wizard Chess.
