Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter, the first thing I did was rub it in my brother's face. Then, I told my parents and little siblings. You see, I'm a halfblood. My father is a wizard; my mother, a Muggle. My older brother is not magic, and my two younger siblings haven't expressed magical symptoms. Anyways, getting the materials for Hogwarts was a hassle; most textbooks required weren't in store. However, we did eventually find all required course material. Reading over the summaries and skimming through the textbooks, I would say that I'm most excited for Herbology and Charms. My father and mother love plants--they named me after a flower, for Merlin's sake!--but my father also runs a community garden in our wizard village. While Astronomy does look rather boring, it's won't stop me from maintaining a good grade! Speaking of grades, I have Muggle Geometry homework to do...
