Backstory

I'm not 100% about this (aka writing with no plan) but here we goooo

Reverie had never seen anything quite like it. A small girl, maybe three? She was sitting in a black sofa. It felt ruff to the touch, but still soft. In front of her the scene played out. She didn’t understand at the time, but the words her parent spoke where no good. She didn’t know back then, but she knows now. This repeated itself for seven years. Her parent arguing. Of course, she grew to learn how to leave the scene, but doing so is difficult. Definitely when your mother started getting violent. It started with slaps, but as quickly as they started, they escalated. Soon her father had to flee. Three knife stabs to the leg and two for the left hand. The mother was crazy, but the child had to stay. Where was she supposed to go? Her father had fled, and she knew no other relative. But then one day, when it was the darkest an opportunity lit up. A mother and her child entered the house. The new girl was her age. Maybe prettier, but visibly the same age. The girl begged the new one for help, and only half a year later she escaped. Enrolling in Hogwarts a little time later, she and the girl are now best friends. The girl is still hunting for her father, maybe her years at Hogwarts will prove to be useful?
