Backstory
A knock on my bedroom door startled me from my reverie as I studied the latest herbology textbook. "Athy, you have a letter," my mom said as she poked her head into my room. "Thank you, Mom," I responded, my curiosity piqued as I accepted the letter from her outstretched hand.
As I broke the seal, the familiar Hogwarts crest on the envelope made my heart race. "Dear Miss Hecat," I read aloud in my best French accent. "You are cordially invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry . . ."
It was a tough choice, my father was a Beauxbatons alumnus, would he accept it? Of course, he didn't mind that I was at Hogwarts, my mother's school.
Ah, the life of a Ravenclaw in the wizarding world - a world where magic and knowledge intertwine like the tendrils of a creeping vine. As Athena Hecat, I have always found myself immersed in the halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, my mind a sponge absorbing every tidbit of knowledge I can get my hands on. My wand, a finely crafted black walnut, vibrates with the power of a phoenix feather core, 13 ¾ inches long and unyielding in its strength. My patronus is a magpie, a playful yet perceptive creature that reflects my nature.
