Backstory

I saw a light brown letter fluttering in through the window one morning, and as I looked out, I saw an owl soaring away into the distance. As I looked over the envelope and saw the address in soft green ink, along with my name, I turned the letter over and couldn’t believe my eyes at the Hogwarts crest embellishing the seal of the letter. I’m Muggle-born, and I’ve spent all my life fantasizing about going to Hogwarts and being immersed in this amazing magical world and spending my life like this, and this is just incredible for me. I was sorted into Ravenclaw, though the sorting hat took an incredibly long time to decide between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. I’m quite intelligent and I can’t wait to study the courses here at Hogwarts! Once I graduate, I would love to do many things in this wonderful magical world, including becoming a Hogwarts teacher eventually, but before then, I would love to work as a reporter/writer for the Daily Prophet, as I love writing, or join the Ministry for a bit and work with the Department of the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures to work to give them more rights and make the Wizarding World a better place for our magical creatures. But before then, of course, lay many days at Hogwarts, and I am so excited! I brought two kittens with me to Hogwarts, Ebby, and Elvis. Ebby has wasted no time getting fat on the food here….
