Growing up in Sussex is about as dull and middle class as you can get. So I can tell you no-one was prepared (least of all me) when I stopped a ball that was headed straight for my face in mid-air. Being born of muggle-parents, it took quite a lot of mistakes and learning to figure out the Wizarding World, but we got there. I actually came to learn that I lived nearby to some hubs of the Wizarding community. Yes, Lewes and Brighton are so eclectic and eccentric, any witch or wizard can blend in without suspicion.
