Backstory

As the Sorting Hat called out "SLYTHERIN!!!" My heart dropped, a family full of Gryffindors and now I'm the odd one out. All I thought about was what my family would say, they're so traditional in their Wizarding ways, that they are gonna be disappointed in me and look down on me, a Slytherin, a bad person. I made a vow on the first day at Hogwarts, to fight evil. I wanted to become a Curse Breaker to prove to everyone that I am not a stereotypical Slytherin, that I am powerful and independent and want good in the world. It is said that becoming a Curse Breaker is a very dangerous and serious profession, in which a wizard or witch could be killed as a result of an old curse, jinx, or hex. I am ready for that type of challenge. Growing up, I always felt a bit of distance between my siblings and pure-blood parents. They drained me, I had the type of attitude to be myself and not rely on anyone else to meet my needs. I paid for my own stuff and made my own way to places. I did love my parents but I hated the feeling of being controlled, babied and treated like a puppet.
