Backstory

I always had a knack for magic. From a young age I was doing everything from flying around the house to conjuring toys; playing with blue and red sparks to levitating objects. Despite my presence in the muggle world as a genius and child author, my true element was always magic. When I was 7 years old, my parents finally decided to introduce me to the Wizarding world. I fell in love right away. I spent hours at a time studying things like magical history and astronomy, or secretly practicing spells with the makeshift wands I would make. Eventually, at around 10 years of age, I received a letter from Hogwarts inviting me to attend. Originally I was going to learn magic at a local school the following year, but all plans were dropped in favour of an education at a much more prestigious school. I ended up taking (and continue to take) several advanced classes, as my passion and talent for magic is strong and undying.
