Backstory
When I first sat down in the front of the Great Hall and that talking hat was placed on my head I clenched my fist and became a ball of anxiety. Only when the sorting hat started talking, firstly awknowledging my muggle born heritage, to which I responded with "really? I had no idea! It's not as if nearly everyone else had asked me about it too!". We then proceeded to bicker back and forth until he decided that me, and my mouth (his words not mine) belong in Gryffindor! As a muggleborn I didnt quiet know what that meant just from my reading... but I can tell he was right.
Currently I'm being surprised by how much I'm enjoying Flying class as well as Herbology. Though Defense Against the Dark Arts and potions, truly give me to most satisfaction in terms of content. Those too, help with the fact I wish to become an Auror! I am already certain Astronomy isn't going to be something I love, but it does fill my never ending thirst for knowledge.
Being muggle-born certainly is easier than ever. at least thats what everyone keeps telling me, but I've already come across some who seem to judge me right off the bat. When I'm eventually hauling them off to Azcaban, I really don't think I'll mind. I was born at the end of the Wizarding war, so I do feel lucky in that sense.
Defensive spells come the most natually to me, as when I was a child with strong emotions my magic rushed out of me to protect myself, and now I'd love to hone it. My weekness is going to be any thing math related I have to complete.
Magic, being its so new, as a concept is still not entirely in my grasp. It all interest me, I want to learn everything I can get my hands on, not only for myself but for others too.
My owl, Hamilton, is rather talkative and a bit demanding. So, if he ever makes any delieveries to you, make sure you give him a treat or else (he has a tendency to peck).
