Backstory
(Third person POV)Akemi moved from japan after her old school, Hope's peak academy, had some 'issues'. She was put into a traumatizing situation, resulting in her never showing her true colors and mimicking others personalities. She went through a killing game as the main antagonist, with no friends at all. One person, let's call her 'Mei', became 'friends' with her. She was the only one Akemi told about her true self, which was a mistake. Mei only used her to try to get away with murder. But Akemi still thinks to this day that they were best friends. Her real self is a bit violent and rowdy, and that was used against her which gave her the idea that her real self was a terrible person. As a child, people used her to get out of trouble in exchange for 'friendship' (where they would just use her more) which made her think she needed to do that to get friends. Akemi's 'normal' personality is a fusion of her close friends Hiyoko Saionji and Maki Harukawa. I was being homeschooled by my mother once my letter arrived. I was very happy to get back in school.
