Backstory

I was sorted in Ravenclaw because of my wisdom and wit. It didn't take that long for me to get sorted. Took about 10 seconds before the hat called out Ravenclaw. My favorite class is flying because I happen to be the best at it. Although I have pretty high grades in it, I hate potions. Snape is just really mean. He took away 10 points from Ravenclaw because I forgot to write down one note. I'm actually a pureblood. My blood status has made me popular among most of the students. Some of them hate me because they think I'm just some stereotypical, stuck up pureblood witch. I swear I'm not though. My greatest strength is that I'm pretty good when it comes to magic and I'm also decent on a broom. My greatest weakness would probably be the fact that I can't swim and that I care too much about other people. After I finish school, I want to become an auror. I think the most interesting aspect to magic is that you can do anything with it. There isn't anything limiting you, besides the law. I plan to use my magic only to help others. If I'm being completely honest, I want to be the best. Not some second rate witch. I want to be the best of the best. I want to be the strongest there ever was, but at the same time still have people like me. I have a black owl named Void. I got her when I was around 7 as a birthday present from my younger brother. Void is kinda sassy. She'll bite me whenever she wants something and it'll take me forever to get her to believe my letters sometimes. Currently my family consist of me, my mother, and my younger brother, Kayden. My father was murdered by a rouge wizard s when I was two, right after Kayden was born. My father is the reason why I'm doing everything I'm doing. I want to avenge him and hunt down the wizard who murdered him. My mother and I don't necessarily have a good relationship. She tends to ignore me and Kayden, focusing more on work instead. We rarely ever see her, so it was up to me to raise Kayden. Kayden is only two years younger than me and we have a pretty solid relationship. The only time we ever argued was over whether mother cared for us or not. And to be honest, the question was never really answered.
