Backstory
During my time in Hogwarts I had taken a liking to magical creatures and had read Newt Scamander’s book Fantastic Beast and Where To Find Them several times. When I had graduated I applied for a job as Professor of Care for Magical Creatures. I didn’t get a spot straight away so I took Auror’s learning course but by the time I had finished the course I had been offered a job. So I got to work at my old school as a Professor.
