Backstory
Hi! My name is Claire Novak, and I'm a first-year Ravenclaw!I was born 15 years ago to my muggle mom and wizard dad and have been raised as a muggle since. However, weird things started happening around the house and my parents finally told my brother and me that we were magical! After learning I was a witch and he a wizard, we quickly learned all we could about Hogwarts and the world of magic. Unfortunately, the person who was supposed to deliver my letter got corona, so I'm here virtually. When I got here, I was a hat stall, because the Sorting Hat couldn't decide between Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. The feast afterwards was brilliant!
I hope to be a journalist when I'm older and start a wizarding newspaper to rival the Daily Prophet, but I hope I can instill journalistic integrity in witches and wizards alike and report honestly and factually, unlike the infamous Rita Skeeter.
My dad is in the Order of the Pheonix, and I hope to join him when I'm older.
I love to read, play with my 3 dogs, and practice photography! I'm a part of a few fandoms, including (in order of how obsessed I am) Star Wars, Supernatural, Harry Potter (obvi), Sherlock, and Marvel. You may have known me from TikTok, @claire.novak, but I deleted it this summer.
My wand is a 12.5 inch Chestnut wood with a unicorn hair core, and my Patronus is a black mare. My favorite classes are DADA and Charms. My favorite movie/book is Prisoner of Azkaban. I love Quidditch, and my position is Chaser but I play Beater for the Ravenclaw Quidditch Pitch Group here on HiH since there were already a lot of chasers.
