Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter, I wasn't surprised. After all, my family and I are extremely well known around the Wizarding World. The Belair's. Family of Merlin, I being his granddaughter. I have been raised to be brave and courageous, kind and caring, intelligent and quick-witted and cunning and ambitious. The Sorting Hat itself said I would fit in any of the Hogwarts houses, but thankfully I was able to continue the family legacy, Slytherin. Thank goodness! I don't know what my father and mother would say if I ended up in any other house. Imagine! A Belair in Hufflepuff! That's to be laughed upon. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and am so grateful for the way that I have grown up, but sometimes I was just more normal. Being able to just walk down Diagon Alley without everyone bowing as I pass is only something I can dream about. The pressure can be over-whelming sometimes, having to get everything (and I mean everything) right all the time, having to be courteous and act perfectly when in the public eye. I just want to be normal. But I'm afraid that's not the life I was born into. I just wish I could be different...
