Ophelia Alven Barnes

Backstory

Being the eldest in the family I was held to a certain standard. Wit, talent, and brains were all expected to be in the package in my family. Sometimes I consider myself to be all three, maybe even more. Yet, I still haven't even introduced myself to you. Hi, my name is Ophelia Alven Barnes, and I am fifteen years old. I was born in New Englan, the oldest of three children in the Barnes family. My father was one of the Head Aurors back when he worked for MACUSA; My mother, however, is a researcher for Magical Creatures. Due to my father's line of work, we were forced to move to the UK. Where he now works at the Ministry of Magic. This year I am starting my fifth year at Hogwarts, I've heard that they sort their houses like back at Ilvermorny. However, it's a bit different; instead, they put an old leathery hat upon your head, and not place you into a room full of the statues from each house. Personally, I am very excited about my sorting and the other memories to come to Hogwarts!
