Backstory

With a Ravenclaw father and a Gryffindor mother, no one really knew where my siblings and I would be sorted into. My older sister is a Hufflepuff, so by the time I made it to Hogwarts everyone was hoping I'd be a Slytherin- we would have the full set! Unfortunately, I turned out to be a Gryffindor like my mother, but the hat has been debating between Slytherin and Gryffindor for me. I evenly express traits from both, but I think what won it out for me in the end was my name- Ari means "lion", "eagle", and "brave", and it was a name I chose myself. The sorting hat knew at that point that I was destined for Gryffindor.
