Backstory

(Younger Student) It was no shock when I got my letter, i'm a half blood and have been showing signs of magic since I was three. The power was out, (My father is a muggle, and he insists on using muggle things) and I wanted some popcorn. So i poured a whole bunch of kernels into a bowl and to my father's surprise, they started popping! My mother was so proud, and after some convincing my father was as well. When we got to Diagon Ally I was shocked, I had never seen so much magic in one place! Sure my mum does some simple things around the house, but this was incredible. When I went to Ollivanders I got a wand made of holly, with a dragon heart string.
