Backstory

What Hogwarts House were you sorted into, and why did the Sorting Hat make that selection? Were you a hatstall (where it took the Sorting Hat a long time to decide) or was the decision immediate? I am a student at Hogwarts. I come from a family of wealthy pureblood Slytherins, so naturally upon my arrival at Hogwarts, I too was sorted into Slytherin. I hold determination, great loyalty and strength. The decision was immediate, of course, and Slytherin house was beyond thrilled to have a direct descendant of Merlin himself among them. My favourite classes are potions, charms, defence against the dark arts and transfiguration. I dislike divination, its bloody boring. I am also captain of the Slytherin quidditch team. I am obviously a pureblood, taking after the rest of my family. Our blood status has never really affected me, my friends and I all treat each other the same regardless. My greatest strength is being able to protect those around me. My greatest weakness is that i can fall in love too easily. After i finish school i hope to become a Potions teacher at Hogwarts, taking after my mother and her mother before. the most fascinating aspect of magic for me is the Patronus spell. What i really want in life is for my parents to be proud of the daughter they have. I want to be able to use my magic to help people and to further my own ends. I have a snowy owl, her name is Alaska, who is terribly loyal towards me, my family and friends. An interesting family fact is that we have our own power, the power to use water that comes from within our souls to produce a increased level of magic.
