Backstory
Hi, my name is Mariana and I'm so excited to go to Hogwarts!My letter came late, like reallyyyyy late ( I'm 18, did my owl got lost all these years or did the Ministry just messed up???) so when I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I cried a lot. I had always thought I was a muggle but that didn't feel right! I felt a connection with magic and Hogwarts so when I received my letter I knew that all those years imagining my life at Hogwarts weren't just a ridiculous fantasy.
Anyway, it was a bit difficult and strange to tell my parents, see I'm the first witch in my family and we don't even live in England, but I successfully persuaded them to go to London and, when we stopped by the Barren Bulldog pub and the sign said: “The Leaky Cauldron” instead, they lost their minds and started to believe me!
I adored shopping at Diagon Alley and I'm really eager to start learning all about magic, every single bit of it. I think I will even start reading my books before school starts!
