The chosen one and the philosopher’s stone
Follow Cassidy Freeman through her seven years at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and Wizardry. There she makes friends, learns magic, and helps Harry defeat the darkest wizard of the age Lord Voldemort. Authors note: I know I posted this story already but I couldn’t get into my other account so I created a new one.
The chosen one and the philosophers stone chapter 1: my name is Cassidy Freeman and I am 11 years old. I was currently reading the chronicles of Narnia when I heard the doorbell ring. I went downstairs to see who it was and standing at the door was a woman in a green robe with her black hair tied up in a bun and a pointed hat. She introduced herself as Professor McGonagall. She handed me a letter which read: dear Miss Freeman, we are pleased to inform you that you have been excepted at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry‘s. Please find enclosed all necessary books and equipment. Turn begins on September 1 and the Hogwarts express leave kings cross station at platform 9 3/4 at 11 AM. We await your owl no later than July 31. Your’s sincerely, Minerva McGonagall, Deputy headmistress. I found a second page in the envelope which was an equipment and book supply list. First year students will require: one black cloak with silver fastenings, three sets of plain black work robes, one black wizards hat, one pair of dragon high gloves, one standard size 2 pewter cauldron, one set of crystal files, one set of brass scales, one telescope, a standard book of spells grade 1, magical theory, a beginners guide to transfiguration, 1000 magical herbs and fungi, magical drafts and potions, a history of magic, the dark forces: a guide to self protection, and fantastic beasts and where to find them. I wrote a confirmation letter on the back of the letter. She told me that my cousin Hermione Granger was attending Hogwarts as well and she would bring us both to Diagon Alley the next day to buy our school supplies. I couldn’t wait for what the future held.
