A secret revealed

Chapter 1

“Hermione!” Harry said abruptly. “Look!” Harry, Ron, and Hermione were studying for their final exam for Potions Class in the Common Room, when Harry had decided to do some experimenting. Hermione jumped to her feet and rushed to Harry. “What have you done now?” Hermione asked accusingly. Harry didn’t answer right away, he just sat in his chair, stunned at what he had seen. “I don’t think I made the right potion,” Harry answered. Ron, who wasn’t listening to the conversation, said, “Hey Harry, catch!” As he threw a ball to Harry. Harry barely caught the ball, but knocked over his cauldron in the process. “No, no, no, no, no!” Harry exclaimed as his potion spilled all over his spare parchment. “Scourgify!” Harry said. But the potion seemed to have a mind of its own. “Why isn’t it working?” Hermione questioned nervously. The potion had started to sink into the parchment, but then disappeared. “Revealio!” Harry ordered. The potion reappeared, forming strange signs and letters that looked like a different language. “What is that?” Ron said. “I think it is in Greek.” Hermione responded. At the confused look Ron and Harry gave her, she continued.
“I’ve been studying Greek lately. I think it says ‘Seven half-bloods shall answer the call, to storm or fire the world must fall. An oath to keep with a final breath, and foes bear arms to the doors of death.’” When Hermione had finished Ron looked confused, while Harry’s face had gone pale. “What’s wrong Harry?” Harry didn’t know what to say. “I think it means that there there is more than our world- the wizarding world- and that the Greek stories and legends aren’t myths.”
