Chapter 26

This one is an easy one. Gillyweed can be used
to make Gillywater and gives it its refreshing and nourishing feeling. When
consumed by a fully grown human it will also result in the temporaty growth of
gills and webs. This effect last for one hour in fresh water and supposedly for
up to three hours in salt water. It is the perfect plant for underwater
adventures, so you select the choice that says “Gillyweed”.  The magical barrier flickers out of existence
and you can see a small slimy, grey-green bushel of plant of five centimetres
in height, though you know it can grow to seven in a soil with a moderately
alkaline pH.

Above the
plant, the display appears: “Condition: Good”. You know Gillyweed needs little
sunlight but a large amount of water. So that means that it has enough water at
the moment. Great! You then proceed to the next display. The new riddle is:

“I am used
in the Polyjuice potion, some love potions and in a mead. I can also treat
urinary tract infections and fertility issues.”

If you
answer “Knotgrass”, go to Chapter 37.

If you answer “Fluxweed”, go to Chapter 36.
